Cai Rang (Vietnamese: Cái Răng) is an urban district (huyện) of Can Tho in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
As of 2003 the district had a population of 77,292.[1] This increased to 82,152 in 2007. The district covers an area of 63 km².[1]
Cai Rang District was established by Decree No. 05/2004/ND-CP on January 2, 2004.
The district borders Vinh Long to the east, and also Tay Phong Dien district, Hau Giang Province, and Bac Ninh Kieu district.
